Back in college as a civil engineering student, I had difficulties taking the subject Thermodynamics. It wasn’t a major subject for a CE major but it acted like one. Nonetheless I had to pass it since it was part of my curriculum and so I took the effort.
For that semester, I frequented the university library to study. At one point, because I was so desperate to pass the major exams, I looked for reference books in the same library for such subjects so I could have more practice problems.
It was then that I discovered the Schaum’s Outline Series for Thermodynamics.
That book saved me because some of my teacher’s exam problems were found there and I was able to practice them. I almost did not return the book to the library for how it was able to help me get a passing mark.
Published by McGraw-Hill Education Professional, Schaum’s Outline Series is designed as supplementary texts for high school- and college-level courses. It covers a wide variety of topics and subjects, mostly in science, engineering and medical field, which content focuses on solving problems to understand the concepts.
Why am I writing this?
Because I want to share Schaum’s Outline’s resources to you after finding a digital library of its books online. It is free of charge uploaded via Google Drive.
We have here Schaum’s Outlines under the following subjects as shown in the screenshot of the folder here:
- Advanced Mathematics
- Differential Equations
- Engineering Mechanics
- Fluid Mechanics
- Heat Transfer
- Machine Design
- Probability and Statistics
- Steel Design
- Strength of Materials
Enjoy and go pass that subject or board exam!
